Working closely with the Group Financial Accounting Manager, you'll ensure accurate accounting records, strong financial controls, and full compliance with regulatory, statutory, and company requirements.Your Impact Here’s how you’ll make a difference:

• Take ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, delivering accurate reporting, robust controls, and insightful financial analysis.
• Prepare and review statutory and regulatory reporting, including Annual Reports, Solvency II submissions, and subsidiary accounts.
• Lead the production of technical accounting papers and support complex accounting judgements throughout the reporting cycle.
• Contribute to Group Management Accounts, MI, budgeting, and quarterly board reporting, providing meaningful insights to support decision-making.
• Partner with auditors and key stakeholders to deliver compliant regulatory returns and statutory accounts for subsidiary entities.

What You’ll Bring

• A Qualified accountant (ACA,) with strong technical accounting knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial reporting.
• Ideally you will have experience working in a mid-tier accountancy practice and will have the ability to support on accounting papers and research.
• You’ll be an excellent communicator and relationship builder, able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and provide outstanding internal and external customer service.
• You’ll have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify solutions, and support informed business decisions.
• You’ll be highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
